I know we always repost each other’s posts in this series. But it just occurred to me that this might be cruel and unusual punishment!

You’re into it very early this morning. Even for an early riser!
OMG. As a stoned 17-year-old when Hey Joe came out, I loved it, and can still listen to it, full of nostalgia and foggy memories. The covers are BEYOND annoying. There was one, well, I couldn’t figure out what I was listening to – the roar of a live, incoherent audience, ocean waves, static in my hearing aids? – and the kids’ version. Please. Some people should be taken out at dawn and shot. JK. NJK. Randy and Irwin, thanks for spoiling an otherwise lovely morning.
I’m still killing myself laughing at this. The fact that you can work in both being a stoned 17-year-old and you hearing aids in the same comment is truly amazing. I’m having trouble typing this as I’m still chortling! Sorry to have ruined your day…NOT😂
As I just commented on Randy’s blog, while it’s a tough act to follow Jimi Hendrix, whose version of “Hey Joe” of course itself was a cover, I have to agree I don’t need to listen to any of the additional renditions Randy called out in his post.
